  • Is there a Toilet?
    • Yes
  • Is there a music player?
    • Yes, but bring your own CDs or an iPhone/iPod
  • Can I bring alcohol?
    • Yes
  • Is there a kettle?>
    • Yes – bring your own drinking water as the on-board water is unsuitable for consumption
  • Is there a fridge?
    • Yes
  • Is there a frying pan?
    • No
  • Are there any plug sockets?
    • No
  • Is there WiFi?
    • No
  • Can I bring a dog?
    • Yes
  • Do babies and infants count towards 12 person total?
    • Yes
  • Can we stop at a pub?
    • Yes
  • Is there free parking near the boats?
    • Yes – in the Unicorn Hotel car park
  • Where is the boat moored?
    • In front of the Unicorn Hotel – NG14 7FB
  • Are crockery and glasses provided?
    • No, you will need to bring disposable tableware, cutlery and glasses
  • Is there a bin?
    • Yes – we will provide bin bags
  • Where will we go on the cruise?
    • Upstream towards Nottingham to Stoke Lock and back with an optional stop off at The Ferry Boat Inn, Stock Bardolph.
  • Will we go through a lock?
    • Only if you book both a morning and afternoon time slot to make a day
  • If it rains, is there cover?
    • Yes
  • What happens if the weather is terrible?
    • Cruises will go ahead unless the weather is exceptionally bad or water levels are too high. In these instances you will be offered an alternative date.
  • Can I decorate the boat with banners and balloons?
    • Yes, the boats are ready for you 10-15 minutes before (although this is not guaranteed)
  • Is there disabled access?
    • No, please contact us if you have any mobility issues. In fine weather, wheelchairs can be sited on the rear of the boat.
  • Can we have a go at driving the boat?
    • Yes, out skippers will be happy to teach you how the boat operates and allow you to take the tiller.
